KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The man found dead in a car off Interstate 435 on Monday has been identified as missing person Terell Bandy.
Bandy, 37, was last seen Feb. 16 in the area of Eastwood Trafficway and Oak Leaf Drive in Kansas City, Missouri.
Family and law enforcement have been searching for him since that time.
On Monday, a vehicle was found off the interstate near the 87th Street exit in a low lying area that is hard to see from the roadway.
There was a body inside that police said had been there for an unknown period of time. Police on Wednesday identified the deceased as Bandy.
Police have not released a cause of death or said how long Bandy had been there. They did say there is no evidence of foul play.
