KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After more than two weeks of locked doors, Californos Westport received the green light Thursday to re-open.
Inspectors with the Kansas City Health Department completed a follow-up inspection Thursday and passed the restaurant, re-instating Californos’ permit.
The restaurant was closed for two weeks as the health department tried to track down the cause of food illness of dozens of people from late March.
