KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Not all heroes wear capes.
Kansas City native and big-time Chiefs fan Jameel Davis had a little fun with the John Elway plaque outside Mile High Stadium, placing a Chiefs cap above the plaque’s head.
Davis, a 2000 graduate of Central High School, and his friend Brandon Lane also posed with a Chiefs Kindgdom flag in front of a statue of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen.
The friends, who are in Denver to celebrate Davis’ 37th birthday and are staying for the Chiefs at Broncos on Monday Night Football (7:15 p.m., ESPN), also posed with the disgruntled Broncos fan from Los Angeles outside the stadium Saturday.
