KANSAS CITY, Mo. — While Tennessee Titans fans are settling in for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs fans are stocking up on food -- including game-day meats.
Bichelmeyer Meat Company owner Joe Bichelmeyer said this is common on game days and something he hopes will continue.
“Every time the Chiefs play on a weekend, there’s a flurry of activity for people to purchase game-day meats,” Bichelmeyer said. “Grilling sausages are very popular. Brisket’s very popular. Anything and everything that anybody can take to a tailgate party or prepare at their homes with their guests.”
And customers said they are loading up their freezers with game-day meats like brisket and beef.
