KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas will be hosting a town hall meeting this weekend called, "You and Mayor Q."

Lucas is going to each district to talk with residents, making a stop in the third district this Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

The goal of the meeting is to address any concerns and the needs the community may have.

Lucas said he's also going to give an update on his priorities as mayor, ranging from public safety to affordable housing and transportation.

Last week, 41 Action News sat down with Mayor Lucas about his first 100 days in office.

One of the main issues discussed was public safety.

"One thing that I said in the campaign that I will still say today. This city needs to be below 100 homicides consistently," Mayor Lucas said last week. "Judge me by that. Because that is what I am working towards. That is the sort of difference, the sort of impact I want to see the programs we are investing in doing."
