KANSAS CITY, Mo. — She’s back at it again! 41 Action News Reporter Jordan Betts is spending the night with Chiefs fans but not at Arrowhead this time, at Union Station.

Follow along as she gives play-by-play action of the first people to get downtown to make sure they have the perfect spot for the parade.

Look for updates from outside the Arrowhead Stadium parking lot all night on KSHB.com. You can also follow the 41 Action News Instagram and Facebook for play-by-play action at the parade before it starts.

She will be posting from her Twitter account as well.

7:20 a.m. | Words cannot describe how packed Union Station is right now. Granted, this will be a prime spot to watch the rally, but my goodness! This is insane!! Fans are packed in here like sardines and not moving. I overheard some people saying they won't move because they don't want their spot taken. I don't blame them. I talked to a few people about who the one player they want to see and they all said....Patrick Mahomes.

6:17 a.m. | More people are continuing to show up and I have even seen a few dogs. Yes, dogs even love parades. I roamed through the crowds to see what everyone is talking about and that is, "where are the bathrooms?" Luckily, there 700 porta potties all down the route. I keep hearing cheering and yelling. I am not sure how many cups of coffee everyone has had, but it must be a lot.

5:15 a.m. | HOLY MOLY!! The crowds have grown so much in the past hour. I would say maybe almost a thousand people out here? I have heard a few people say "I called in sick to work, don't put me on TV." I think a lot of people are doing that today. Wind is picking up a bit and my face is officially frozen. Do they make face warmers? They should. People are loud and are continuing to scream and shout. I think that's part of the staying warm process.

3:06 a.m. | Hand warmers are being passed around and heaters are getting cranked up. Funny thing is many people are here, but sleeping in any possible way they can. Either in a tent, bundled up with blankets or just laying in the grass. You must really love a team to stand out here in this. But, as everyone kept saying, it could be worse. I did find a group that has many had a few too many cups of coffee. You could hear them shouting up the street, "GO Chiefs!"

2:02 a.m. | Fans are here and they are ready for a parade! I am in shock by the amount of people that are already here, maybe 40-50 people in front of Union Station. But, also not shocked because I know Chiefs go big for their team. Saw two guys in sleeping bags right in front of the racks near Union Station and come to find out they are high school seniors. They convinced their parents this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and they let them come. The two guys have been out here since 10 p.m. Cool parents, I should say.

1:00 a.m. | Just made my way downtown. I have seen a few people trying to get into some of the hotels to warm up, but they are locked. Most of them just trying to warm up. Don't rely the hotels, businesses around downtown. Layer up!

12:07 a.m. | I'm back! A tad bit tired, but I am here. Currently packing all the hand warmers I can find before I head out the door. I saw Mayor Quinton Lucas tweet out at 8:35 a.m. that he saw people already lining up. Now, that's dedicated.
