KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In a time we all rely on technology so much more to be connected, you could start a new career helping people when their devices break.
The company uBreakiFix Phone Medic in Kansas City, Missouri, has 10 job openings right now, both full- and part-time, for managers, assistant managers and certified technicians.
Certified technicians don't need experience in technology and will get paid training as well as certifications. "By working on the device, it means you get access to all the original parts, you get the scripts for the devices so the 100-plus parts in those devices, you get the tutorials on how to fix that," Ricci said. "You carry those logos so your resume and your credential building, whether you stay with us or move on to that next business, you now have a really powerful resume because you've got these major technology companies that you're certified by."

"Starting wages are anywhere from $10 to $14 an hour plus commission, plus bonuses, so that can easily put you around $13 to $18 an hour," Ricci said.
