While older age groups seem happy, we want to know why Kansas City, Missouri's latest customer service survey showed younger age groups said they were 'very dissatisfied'.
City Manager Troy Schulte wants to get to the bottom of it and suggested a focus group at the KCStat meeting at city hall this morning.
"We have got to figure out a way for us as a city to connect with them," he said. "Make sure they're engaged with the city going forward so their ideas, their investments benefit the city for the next generation."
The survey showed results broken down by demographics. Residents older than 55 were listed as satisfied and very satisfied.
However, residents ages 18-24 and 35-44 were listed as very dissatisfied.
How did they get these results?
City spokesperson Chris Hernandez said they come from mailed to a "random, citywide, scientifically valid sampling of households. There are smaller quarterly surveys and a larger annual survey."
