KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Starbucks will shift its U.S. and Canada locations to “to-go” models for two weeks.

Rossann Williams, executive vice president and president, U.S. company-operated business and Canada, announced the change Sunday in a letter that was distributed to “all U.S. partners.”

Customers will not be able to use any seating in the patio or cafe areas of Starbucks sites.

Other changes include modified condiment bars and temporary closures for locations in “high-social gatherings” and either closures or reduced hours in areas with “high clusters of COVID-19 cases.”

More information on the changes can be found online.
