An 18-year-old man is in the Jackson County Jail after being arrested in connection with the April 3, 2016 murder of Jacob Brantner.

Fazon Swinton, 18, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested and charged in Brantner's death on Tuesday.
Brantner was shot and killed at a Price Chopper parking lot near 63rd Street and Blue Ridge while attempting to sell a gun after an online agreement. Brantner brought his 10-year-old daughter to the meetup.
She was watching in the car as he was killed.

The case has been handed over to the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office. Charges are expected soon.
