Good Saturday bloggers,
This eighth straight rainy day makes it a good idea to tune in to 41 Action News at 6:30 PM for our "School Day at the K" special. Thank you to the Royals and Science City for working with us. We had a blast, literally, at times!
We are now at 8 days in a row with measurable rain. It made me think of the Beatles song "Eight Days a Week". Not sure where my mind wandered off to. The record is 10. We see lower rain chances Sunday through Tuesday, but not zero. So, if KCI, which is the official reporting station for Kansas City, gets a shower of .01" or more, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, then we will break the record. A different type of wet weather pattern sets up Wednesday through Friday. So, the chance is there to smash the record.
The 7 minute video below goes into detail on this wet weather pattern. And answers the question, when is a good time to mow the yard? My grass is around 6" high after being mowed 1 week ago.
Have a great weekend. Stay dry, stay healthy.
