There will be two main weather features to track the next 10 days. The cold wave and chances of snow.
COLD WAVE:
Today is day 1 of at least a 10 day cold wave where temperatures will not rise above 32. We may not even go above 20 after we drop into the teens this afternoon. Wind chill values will be mostly -20 to 0 during the cold wave.
Look at the temperatures Saturday morning. It was -45 at Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories of Canada to 60 in Dallas, TX. The large Arctic air mass will be in control for awhile.
SNOW:
We have 3 chances of snow through Monday including today. There will be other chances Wednesday through Friday.
