Good morning bloggers,

The snow began falling Sunday morning and continued on Monday. It has left Kansas City in a winter wonderland in the week before Christmas. So, even though it will likely not be a white Christmas this year with the warming trend coming our way, it sort of feels like one right now.

A couple of days ago on my Facebook page I asked for photos of the winter scene, and thank you so much for sharing. Here are a few of my favorites.

This picture above is from Amy Blair Snively of her dogs looking outside at the falling snow.

The picture of the horses, who had to deal with the cold and snow, comes from one of our viewers Kendra Tepesh Hatcher, and the next picture below is from a cow. Thank you Sharon Knuth for this picture.

And, this last picture is a cute one from Abby Stuke, "Is thgat you Santa Paws".

Thank you for sharing all of these pictures and so many more on my facebook fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/GaryLezak/

The warming trend is continuing. Expect the high temperature to fall just short of 50 degrees today, with a warm up into the 50s and it may even hit 60 degrees on Monday or on Christmas Eve. We will be tracking Santa Tuesday night. I have our Santa Tracking software ready to go. It has been tested and we will share it with you Tuesday night on 41 Action News.

Have a great day!
