Good Saturday bloggers,
Our latest storm is heading to New England and we are left with low clouds, 1"-3" of snow and slick spots. Officially, we received 1" of snow, so our seasonal total stands at 4.3". It has been an odd snow season across the Plains and Midwest as Chicago has seen less snow than Oklahoma City and Amarillo, TX.
A series of small systems will keep us mostly cloudy through Monday. Some sun is possible from time to time. There may be a few snowflakes this weekend and some slick spots due to melting and refreezing.
Our average high during the next week is 38°. We will see mostly above average temperatures during the next week as Arctic air is lurking across Canada and north of I-90. We will have to watch that as we get into the end of January. Also, there are two storm systems to keep an eye on.
The 5 minute video below details the forecast for the huge Chiefs game and also when our next significant storm system arrives.
Have a great weekend and stay healthy. GO CHIEFS!
