Weather Blog: Fog Will Lift & T-Storms Are In The Forecast

We hope everyone is doing well this morning. The Coronavirus lockdown will go into effect tonight at midnight in KC. As many of us stay home, we are here at 41 Action News and KSHB.com to prepare you from day to day on the latest news and updates on this health crisis. Our weather team will bring you KC's most accurate forecast 24/7 and this week's weather is another active one. The day began with fog:

This is Sunny The Weather Dog playing a game with Rainbow. It was a foggy start to this week. We are forecasting the fog to lift, and the thunderstorms are possible later tonight as another wet storm heads our way. The storm is a fast moving system, and the chance of thunderstorms increases around 3 or 4 AM and moves across for around three or four hours into mid-morning on Tuesday. 1/2" to 1" of rain is likely with a few heavier amounts if you get under one of the stronger thunderstorms.
