How cold is it? It is so cold that Indian Creek has pretty much frozen over. The pictures are from 103rd and State Line. I have lived here my whole life and you do not see this very often.
There are even ice circles on the creek. This reminds me of Lake Mendota in Madison, WI from my UW days.
This is one heck of an Arctic outbreak. There is a Winter Storm Warning from El Paso, TX to Houston, TX to just north of New Orleans!
Snow spread across the region Sunday morning. We will see periods of snow into Monday afternoon. This will be followed by one of the coldest temperatures since the 1980s which may be followed by more snow. Then, this is followed by a warming trend!
