Good evening bloggers,

It's Friday Night In The Big Town! The weekend weather is looking fantastic with no chance of rain and just a few periods of clouds. It will be ever so slightly cooler Saturday, and the warmer on Sunday.

The outlook for the Chiefs game is for tailgating to have temperatures in the 40s with a high of 60 degrees for the game. It will be mostly sunny.

On Saturday, for the Sunflower Showdown, it will be a nice day with a high around 50 degrees, so maybe a light coat is necessary.

It is October Statistics Day! The highest temperature came in on the 1st of the month, and the coldest temperature came in on the 31st. This has actually happened two other times in our Kansas City recorded history, back in 1951 and in 2002. This time, the highest was 88 and the lowest was 21 just yesterday morning.
What lies ahead? We will provide your November forecast on 41 Action News. Our winter forecast is currently being worked on and will come out later this month. Have a great and safe weekend.
