Good evening bloggers,

The weather pattern is getting a bit more active. We are monitoring the jet stream closely for next week as well. The big Thanksgiving travel week will likely have a storm system or two to deal with around the USA.

Tonight, we have a band of rain moving through. And, there may be a few thunderstorms after midnight tonight as a cold front approaches. These showers and thunderstorms will be off and on through 7 AM Thursday, and then it will dry out.

Expect a wind shift to the north early Thursday, and then it will turn colder with temperatures dropping into the 40s.

Next week: This is a huge challeng for our team of meteorologists at 41 Action News, and here on KSHB.com. Right now, the latest data has a chance of rain or snow Tuesday or Wednesday. There is a second storm later in the week. Timing these out right now is difficult, so watch us on the newscasts as we go in-depth into our forecasts.

It will be near 60 degrees tonight and windy. So, get the umbrella out, and have that wind breaker on. Have a great evening.
