Good Tuesday bloggers,

As advertised, this is going to be a strange weather week in the Plains. We can see snow on radar, smoke in the sky and temperatures that represent all four seasons in just our region of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.

After Labor Day weekend saw highs 90-105, temperatures have dropped to the 30s, 40s and 50s with heavy snow on the way for Colorado.

You can see smoke from the western fires on the satellite picture in southeast Missouri where there are no clouds. There is likely smoke in the sky over us and in the Plains, it is just mixed with the clouds.

What does this mean for KC? We could use some rain, especially if you put down grass seed and fertilizer. The answer is in the video below.

Have a great week and stay healthy.
