Good Sunday bloggers,

We got missed by the rain twice on Saturday. A large thunderstorm complex was heading towards us from Nebraska during the morning. It dissipated as it reached northwest Missouri. Scattered thunderstorms in northeast Kansas yesterday afternoon stayed west, becoming a huge Oklahoma thunderstorm complex. At least today we will have a break from the high humidity.

We have 2-3 chances of rain during the week ahead with one of the chances being better than the others.

Saturday afternoon we saw scattered severe thunderstorms form in northeast Kansas. The thunderstorms that were heading into KC fell apart. The others dropped south and became a huge complex over Oklahoma where they needed it too.

1" to 5" of rain covered much of Oklahoma, while a band of .50"-2" of rain occurred from southeast Minnesota to Tennessee.

Yesterday there were .25" to 1" amounts in eastern Kansas, but mostly west of KC.

We take a look at the week ahead, searching for rain, in the video below.

Have a great week and stay healthy.
