Good Sunday bloggers,
We are tracking a small weather system today, and then the long awaited bigger warm up begins Monday with highs in the 50s.
We had a few breaks in the overcast around sunrise before thicker low clouds moved in. We had a developing area of drizzle forming around Manhattan, KS 7-8 AM Sunday. This will grow and expand during the morning as it moves east. It will exit during the afternoon. So, we will see a few hours of drizzle and a few rain showers today.
Is winter over? Have we seen our last chance of snow? Last year our last measurable snow occurred on February 12th. The answers to the questions above are most likely, no.
The four and a half minute video below details the warm up and an early look into our next potential bout with winter.
Have a great week and stay healthy.
