When in Boston: Tourists visit iconic Cheers bar

Before you even walk through the door of Cheers Boston, you hear the familiar soundtrack.

You also see the familiar faces.

"Pictures, pictures, pictures. Everybody wants to take a picture with Norm and with Fraiser,” said Jenni McNeill Brown, who does public relations for the location.

Cheers Boston is situated in the heart of Beacon Hill. It inspired the famous 90s sitcom.

Even two decades later, the special spot always draws a crowd.  “People from all over the world. Everywhere. Literally, I can't name a place I haven't had a guest from besides maybe right down the street,” McNeill Brown said.

It’s not a popular spot for locals but is for visitors, tourists and fans.
