KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A former Blue Springs physician pled guilty to statutory sodomy involving a teenaged boy.
Joseph T. Mackey, 43, was charged with eight counts of second degree statutory sodomy.
According to court records, the victim met Mackey when he was 11 years old through scouting and later Mackey also saw him as a patient.
Police also found other victims who say Mackey touched them or they were asked to masturbate for a study at the University of Kansas.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 3.
