Officers are investigating after a shooting Sunday night.
Kansas City police were called to the 4200 block of Monroe for a shooting after 11 p.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived, they found a man injured at a residence. The victim was taken to a hospital in life-threatening condition and died a short time later.
Police identified the victim as Michael Holmes, 27, of Kansas City, Missouri.
