KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Shawnee police on Tuesday identified the man and woman killed in an apparent murder-suicide over the weekend.
Joshua Mobley, 34, of Mission, Kansas, shot and killed Courtney Bivins, 27, of Kansas City, Missouri, before shooting and killing himself, police said in a news release.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of Frisbie Road in Shawnee, Kansas.
Mobley and Bivins were not in a relationship but were close friends, Shawnee police said.
