LEAWOOD, Kan. - Rain or shine, the weather didn’t stop people from getting outside Monday to witness the total solar eclipse. Instead of finding their lawn chairs, dozens of people witnessed the event in chair pose.
It was ‘Total Solar Eclipse Yoga’ at Park Place in Leawood. The day started off hectic for many scrambling to find clearer skies, but for those searching to find their zen, the clouds cleared just in time.
"Sit in a space of stillness, not just in the physical space around them but even this internal stillness of quiet, the impact or the effect, the experience will literally slow down for them," said Brad Elpers, Yoga Six Manager.
