For a donation of five dollars, you could walk away with a Chiefs Kingdom flag to fly all season long.
Several locations ran out quickly, as folks made their purchase at the drive-through on this drippy Friday morning.
Tami Greenberg, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities, said that all the fun and excitement of this special day really adds up to lots of special days for families using Ronald McDonald house year around.
Thousands of families make these places their home away from home and Red Friday helps keep it all going.
Clark Hunt, CEO and President of the Kansas City Chiefs, says being part of the community and creating a family of fans makes the organization realize how important it is to give back in meaningful ways.
It was a party with a purpose all morning thanks to the cheerleaders, the drum corps, and KC Wolf!
