Is your basketball bracket already busted? Don't worry. You can still vote in the KC Barbecue Bracket.

The popular food critics known as the KC Food Guys created the bracket in hopes of celebrating Kansas City barbecue.

"The best barbecue offerings in the country, without question, are in Kansas City, and everyone should be proud about that," said Fred Phillips, one of the Food Guys.

Just like in basketball, there are 64 competitors. In this case, 64 KC barbecue joints competing for the title.

"We love to fight about barbecue, and the bracket was really a good chance to get it out there," said Phillips of his fellow food critic Steve Ruyle.

There are two brackets: one determined by the KC Food Guys and another that the public can vote in.

In the public vote, it's already down to the Elite 8, with one of last year's champs, Q39, taking on B.B.'s Lawnside. Jack Stack, Joe's Kansas City and Gates are still in the dance as well.

"There are two things in March I look forward to," said Robert Magee, the owner of Q39.  "Number one, the barbecue bracket that we're in.  And number two, we want to see KU win March Madness for the NCAA."
