UPDATE 3/4/2017 7:00 P.M.: Police identified the man found dead in a vehicle as Gregory Fields, 29, of Kansas City, Missouri.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Police are investigating the city's latest homicide after a man was found dead in a vehicle at 37th & Garfield overnight.
Officers were called to the area on a report of gunshots about 12:30 Saturday morning.
When crews arrived, they discovered a black male inside a vehicle with no signs of life.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect description at this time.
Police have not yet identified the victim.
