A motorcyclist is dead after a crash involving a Johnson County Sheriff's Deputy on 175th Street east of I-35 Sunday.
The Kansas State Highway Patrol said both drivers were transported to a local hospital with injuries. The driver of the Yamaha motorcycle later died.
Officials haven't released any information on what led to the crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol Critical Highway Accident Response Team are investigating. Eastbound and westbound 175th Street near I-35 is now re-opened after officials finished the on-scene investigation.
