A motorcycle driver was killed when he lost control on wet pavement on Mt. Olivet Road early Sunday morning.
Christopher F. Scott, 36, of Smithville was killed shortly after 1:00 a.m. Sunday.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Scott was northbound when he crossed the line and hit a Dodge, he was ejected and pronounced dead.
The driver of the Dodge, Joshua C. Lathrop, 29, and passenger Kayla N. Lathrop, 27, also of Smithville suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
