MARYVILLE, Mo. - Netflix is gearing up to release its newest documentary featuring a Missouri rape case that made national headlines.
It’s called, “Audrie & Daisy.”
Daisy Coleman from Maryville, Missouri was raped by a football player and bullied online.
It happened on January 8, 2012 when Daisy, then 14 years old, and a 13-year-old friend were at a party that included two older teenage boys.

The film shows the fallout from the case and the protests demanding justice for Daisy.
It also tells the story of a California girl who went through the same thing and committed suicide.
The documentary hits Netflix on Friday, September 23.
