UPDATE 4/15/2017 5 P.M.: Police say the man killed outside a Taco Bell on Emanuel Cleaver Boulevard 21-year-old Jamon Morgan. He was allegedly involved in a disturbance with the suspect before the shooting.
ORIGINAL STORY:
One person was killed, and two others seriously injured in a shooting near a Taco Bell in the 1300 block of Emanuel Cleaver Saturday morning.
Police were called to a reported shooting about 1:00 a.m.
Two party buses were parked in front of the restaurant. The owner of one of the buses told 41 Action News that the victims had just gotten off his bus when someone opened fire.
Upon arrival, officers discovered one person dead, and two others in serious condition.
No suspect description was given, but police may be searching for a white Dodge Charger that was seen in the area at the time.
