Officers are investigating a shooting at a gas station at 748 Washington Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old black male in the parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a red 4-door vehicle involved and it may have been sitting at the pumps for several minutes before the shooting. At least two people were in the vehicle.
This incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, who is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
