Fire crews battled a house fire in KCMO late Tuesday afternoon.
Officials were called to the fire in the 3800 block of East Sixth Street. When they arrived, they said the house was engulfed.
Firefighters found one person outside the house with serious injuries. A second person escaped the fire without injuries.
