Six vehicle burglaries were reported outside the Overland Park Marriott overnight.
Sgt. Kelly Hasz says sometime between 11 p.m. and this morning the vehicles were broken into.
One handgun was stolen, along with sunglasses, change and other miscellaneous items.
Officers are working to see if there is any surveillance video from the hotel.
No injuries were reported.
Sgt. Hasz added that a couple of nights ago several vehicles were also burglaries at other hotels nearby on the north side of Metcalf Avenue. Police are trying to determine if those burglaries may be related.
