41 Action News Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak and 38 the Spot's Crystile Lampitt will host the event once again, along with help from 41 Action News's Rihannon Ally and Lindsey Anderson.

The event will raffle items from the Kansas City Chiefs, Starlight Theater, Kendra Scott and 3 Dog Bakery. There will also be pet adoption success stories and adorable dogs and cats looking for their forever homes.

The goal of the telethon is to raise $130,000 for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, a no-kill animal shelter. Its mission is to save and improve the lives of dogs and cats throughout the Greater KC community by providing education, adoptions, preventive veterinary care and spay/neuter services.
