A flasher targeting women joggers in the Brookside and Waldo neighborhoods in Kansas City, has women concerned about their safety.

The flasher was spotted recently near 59th Street and Pennsylvania and 56 Street and Linden.

Police have arrested a man who matches the description of the suspect and has a car similar to the one reported to officials.  Police are not confirming if the man who was arrested is the flasher.

Wanda Shoffner likes to jog in Loose Park occasionally. She is not planning to stop jogging, but she is planning to pay extra attention to the people in the area when she's jogging

"You always have to be on alert no matter if you're a 250 pound man, someone like me or someone who is petite you have to be alerts," said Shoffner.

Brenda Scoggin, who was in a Brookside neighborhood park watching her friends children, is hoping that women will remain safety minded even if this latest flasher has been arrested

"You can't let your guard down," said Scoggin.
