A new T-Shirt is hitting the stores featuring a favorite Royals player, Salvador Perez. The shirt pays homage to the ever famous "Salvy Splash."
Usually T-shirts feature the entire team, but this is one of the first times a T-shirt has featured a single player. The owner of Game Time Graphics says since this is a slow time for the Royals, they have more time to create the T-shirt.
Salvy was chosen because he is one of the most liked Royals players.
“He brings a lot of excitement because of how he plays and what he does after the game sometimes, and I think the fans really enjoy that and so I think that's kind of one of those things that they were able to pick off of that to do a design for the Royals. And I mean, yeah, maybe they are not playing the best, but hey, it is still early in the season, things can get changed, and so Perez is kind of the guy right now," said David Curtis, owner of Game Time Graphics.
The shirts are $20 and can be found at local grocery stores.
