When NFL owners voted Tuesday night to allow the Rams to move to a new stadium just outside Los Angeles, St. Louisans entered deep mourning.

Meanwhile, Kansas City is basking in the glow of a Chiefs team that's on a winning streak and in striking distance of the Super Bowl. Not mention, the warm feeling fans have about the Royals winning the World Series.

Considering that Kansas City sports fans are sitting pretty, the reactions to the Rams news reflects a wide range of opinions. Here are a few from the 41 Action News Facebook Page.

Tonya Lepert Welcome new Chiefs fans!

Danny Folk The NFL failed St Louis. They violated their own bylaws, which are in place to prevent exactly what just happened. That is, to disallow a franchise to move to a new market simply to make more money. STL met every request given to them by the NFL, and still lost their team. Meanwhile, Oakland and San Diego, who have done nothing to keep their teams, still get to keep their teams. Terrible. Done w the NFL.

Jimmy Barnes I love St. Louis. I sincerely believe that St. Louis has lost the energy their leadership once exhibited. I hope they get it back. We need a strong St. Louis metro area

Mack Van Patterson Poor STL they can't get a team to stay.

Christine Bieker Novak Now if we could just get the Cardinals to move out of Missouri. LOL

Shawn J. Pence Chiefs Kingdom expanding eastward.

It's official, the Rams are leaving St. Louis.

Before the vote came, Stan Kroenke's dissing of St. Louis earlier in the week also drew lots of reactions from Kansas Citians.

Keesha Hinkle Daaaaaaamn. I am no Rams fan, but to rip an entire city like that? Not cool, boopy.

Li An Sharak Sounds like some eastward expansion in the Chiefs Nation is due.

Chevonne Hinkle LMAO... loving every minute of this situation.

Johnathan Lemons Sounds like Chiefs Nations needs to make a move into Saint Louis. Those NFL fans in the Lou deserve better. Their city would support a good team and good owner. Calling them bad fans makes no sense...look how rabid they are about the Cardinals and Blues.

Stan Kroenke has a few choice words for St. Louis:"Any NFL Club that signs on to this proposal in St. Louis will be well on the road to financial ruin, and the League will be harmed."
