KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As the investigation into Saturday morning's deadly shooting in Westport continues, police released the name of the victim who died.

Kansas City, Missouri, police identified 17-year-old Devin Harris as the deceased victim.

Four other people were shot during the early-morning incident, which started as an altercation inside a nightclub, according to court documents.

On Monday, police said three other men who were shot remained hospitalized, but KCPD said all were listed as stable and their injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.

Jackson County prosecutors charged Devin Carter, 25, with armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon Sunday in connection to the shooting.

Police said Monday their investigation includes the search for additional suspects, but they were still working through evidence to build a description.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
