KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Before peaceful protests turned to civil unrest for a second night in Kansas City, Missouri, 41 Action News captured drone footage of the group gathered around Mill Creek Park Sunday.
Protests began around 2 p.m. and were peaceful demonstrations until after curfew began.
Drone coverage from KC protest. This doesn't even show all of the people that were out between these clips peacefully protesting or the civil unrest later in night. Colleague @navasphoto will be posting still photos he captured & you can see more of our coverage on @41actionnews pic.twitter.com/wshYYUKc3n

After the 8 p.m. curfew issued by Mayor Quinton Lucas, there were scenes of vandalism, things being thrown at police and tear gas being deployed at protesters.
Many of the peaceful protesters seen in the park observed the curfew and left when it was time.
