KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A water main break caused 79th Street at Holmes Road in Kansas City, Missouri, to be blocked early Wednesday morning.
Workers on scene said a 16-inch main broke and the road partially collapsed as a result.
More water company employees were called in to make repairs.
As of 5:30 a.m., no customers were affected by the break.
