9:11 p.m. | L'Jarius Sneed will be out for the remainder of the game, according to the Chiefs after suffering a collarbone injury.

8:37 p.m. | Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson fumbles and the Chiefs recover with 45 seconds left in the half.

7:15 p.m. | The Chiefs and Ravens have kicked off at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

6:12 p.m. | Chiefs starting right guard Andrew Wylie has been taken to a Baltimore hospital with a stomach illness. He got sick after arriving at M&T Bank Stadium earlier Monday for a showdown with the Baltimore Ravens, according to The Athletic's Nate Taylor.

5:54 p.m. | The Chiefs will have to reshuffle the offensive line for a showdown at the Baltimore Ravens. Starting right guard Andrew Wylie is inactive for the game.

Yasir Durant, an undrafted rookie from the University of Missouri who is active for the game, is listed as Wylie's backup at right guard, but Nick Allegretti and veteran Mike Remmers also would be options to squeeze into the starting lineup between center Austin Reiter and right tackle Mitchell Schwartz.

Durant had been inactive for the first two games.

On the bright side, cornerback Charvarius Ward, who missed last week's game at Los Angeles after breaking his hand in the season-opener, will be active along with wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who left the overtime win at the Chargers after taking a helmet-to-helmet shot to the head.

Defensive end Alex Okafor (hamstring) already had been ruled out and former Ravens defensive end Demone Harris also is inactive along with rookie cornerback BoPete Keyes and tight end Ricky Seals-Jones.

Harris and Seals-Jones have been inactive for all three games.

For Baltimore, DT Justin Madubuike is the biggest name on the inactive list.

It will be the third consecutive season in which the Chiefs and Ravens meet led by the last two NFL MVPs, 2018 winner Patrick Mahomes and 2019 winner Lamar Jackson.

The Chiefs will be without defensive end Alex Okafor, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, but wide receiver Sammy Watkins (concussion/neck) and cornerback Charvarius Ward (hand) are questionable for the game.

Baltimore and Kansas City are both 2-0, including victories over Houston.

The Chiefs spanked the Texans 34-20 in their Sept. 10 season opener, while the Ravens took down Deshaun Watson and company 33-16 last Sunday.

That same afternoon Kansas City needed overtime to escape from Los Angeles with a 23-20 win against the Chargers, a win some might call ugly but the Chiefs call necessary on the Run It Back Tour.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but no matter your perspective, there’s no denying that Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker — who had to drill the game-winning field goal, a franchise-record-tying 58-yard ballistic strike, three times — has earned cult status in Kansas City.

Mahomes, who landed on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People list this week, also delivered his usual magic, including an improbable game-tying two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

He’ll likely need plenty more to get the best of cornerback Marcus Peters, a former Chiefs first-round pick, and a stout Ravens defense.

Kansas City won a December 2018 meeting 27-24 and a September 2019 meeting 33-28, but those games were at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes-Jackson III will be in Baltimore, where the Chiefs have only played once since 2009.
