Good Halloween bloggers,

The full moon set this morning at 7:37 AM and it will rise at 6:39 PM just in time for Halloween activities. Did you know that when the full moon sets, the sun rises. The sky is crystal clear and we were able to see the moon, the sunrise and Venus. It will remain crystal clear through the day and night.

The full moon tonight is a Blue Moon which means the second full moon in a month. The last full moon was October1st. Let the howling begin!

There can be all kinds of weather on Halloween in Kansas City. I have trick or treated with snow on the ground, in the rain, in the cold and in warm and humid conditions. The weather this year will make it one of the nicer Halloweens.

After Halloween, remember to set you clocks back one hour. This is also a good weekend to check the smoke detector batteries.

The sunsets today at 6:17 PM and tomorrow at 5:16 PM. Now, if you go to bed before 2 AM, you will get an extra hour of sleep. It is a 49 hour weekend!

Then, after Halloween and the end of Daylight Saving Time, it is Chiefs Sunday. A cold front will come through after 10 PM tonight with no precipitation. But, it will make Sunday 20 degrees colder. If you are headed to the game, bundle up, despite the sunshine.

The weather pattern has calmed down for now. There are changes showing up in 7-10 days, and could this include yet another hurricane?

Details on our series of weather changes and Election day forecast are in the video below.
Have a great weekend and safe Halloween.
