Good Saturday bloggers,
The first of the three snowstorms tracked across Nebraska and Iowa last night, bringing a band of 3" to 8" of snow. The northwest corner of Missouri was clipped with a dusting to 2" of snow. A second storm is timed for Sunday and a third storm is timed for Tuesday.
Whether you are a snow lover or not we need precipitation of any type as a moderate drought is increasing across the area. The 0.06" of rain we received from the first storm is not nearly enough. Kansas City has not seen measurable snow since October 26th.
The video below goes into detail for the next two storm systems with new data.
Have a great weekend and stay healthy.
