We had 2 Tornado Warnings today, near Smithville & Excelsior Springs around 1-2 PM. There have been no confirmed tornadoes. Should any warnings be issued Thursday, any tornado would be brief & small or it would be like today, a funnel or rotating wall cloud. The picture is from Brian Cameron at the Smithville Lake Dam.
Well, what is next? We are tracking a disturbance that will slowly move across the area tonight. It will bring some very heavy downpours with flash flooding the main threat.
