If it’s Wednesday, it must be Liberty!
The big Harvester’s refrigerated truck rolled into the parking lot of the Price Chopper at 291 Highway and Ash around 6:30 Wednesday morning, ready to be loaded with perishable items that we often can’t give to a food pantry.

Sarah Biles of Harvesters was on the scene too, reminding us that they provide meals for over 140,000 people each month, many of whom are children.
Covering some 26 counties, Harvesters is probably in your community or nearby doing the important work of feeding the hungry, even if you don’t see their name.
From today through Saturday, you can help KSHB 'Fill The Fridge' with milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables and so much more.

If you don’t have time to shop, just scan a coupon at the checkout and give a $1 or $5 or more! A single dollar can provide three meals!
So, as you tool around Liberty on Wednesday, stop by the blue KSHB tent and rumbling Harvesters truck.
The hungry person you help may be right in your own neighborhood!
