A violent crash knocked down light poles Thursday morning.
Police said the driver crashed on Lake Avenue and Paseo near 28th Street.
Officers said a pickup truck was traveling south on Paseo. The driver took out two light poles and crashed into a third.
KCP&L had to drag a light pole out of street and onto shoulder.

Police towed the truck from the scene.
The driver was arrested.
