Police are investigating an overnight drive-by shooting in the city’s east side that hurt a woman inside her home.
Officers responded to the house on the 3500 block of Norton Avenue around 2:40 a.m., where they found the woman suffering from minor gunshot wounds.
According to KCPD, the shots were fired into the home from a white SUV that was seen leaving the scene southbound on Norton.
Beside the woman, three men were inside the residence but weren’t hurt.
The victim refused to go to the hospital.
